Amash Announces Opening of Battle Creek Office

Grand Opening Next Week, Staff to Hold Mobile Office Hours in Homer This Week

Grand Rapids, Michigan – U.S. Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) announced the opening of his new congressional office in downtown Battle Creek. The office will begin operations with a grand opening reception on Wednesday, March 27.

“I am excited to expand my office’s constituent services operations with an office in Battle Creek,” said Amash. “Calhoun County is a vibrant and important part of the new Third District. By opening up a downtown Battle Creek office, I am able to serve my constituents in Calhoun County more effectively.”

Amash’s new office is located in the Battle Creek Tower at 70 W. Michigan Avenue, Suite 212. The office will be staffed part-time by constituent service specialists to help with Social Security and disability benefits, veterans issues, passport assistance, and citizen and immigration services, among other help offered.

The grand opening will occur on Wednesday, March 27, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

Amash’s staff also will hold mobile office hours in the Village of Homer in Calhoun County, later this week. Staff will provide assistance to those with federal issues or casework. No appointments are necessary.

The Homer mobile office hours will occur on Friday, March 22, from 1 PM to 2 PM at the Village of Homer’s offices at 130 E. Main Street in Homer.
